I found this fabulous purse while visiting my friend last September in Framingham, Mass. and decided to carry it in October in honor of breast cancer awareness month. During my 5 hour drive home, I came up with the concept of the Pink Purse Project and decided that this year I would promote it to the world.

The goal of the Pink Purse Project is to get as many people to carry a pink purse during the month of October to help raise awareness about breast cancer. Please take a few minutes to learn more about the Pink Purse Project and how you can participate and support the project.

I am a breast cancer survivor and have taken up the cause so that someday women (and men) will not have to go through what I did. For the last 3 years, I have raised money for American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer by making and selling beaded bracelets. This year, in addition to the bracelets, I will sell other items that you can purchase directly through this site.
